My Story
Where did you grow up?
I was raised along with six siblings on a farm in Dallarnil, which is just west of Childers.
What kind of jobs have you had?
I started working on the family farm from the age of 14. Later on, I started work at a cafe, which happened to be positioned next to Kevin’s family’s butcher shop. I didn’t know him then. When I was about 27 I started working in the delicatessen that adjoined the butcher shop—the rest is history.
Me Now
What brought you to Tall Trees?
Before we moved here, Kevin and I were living separately because of different care needs. We chose to come to Tall Trees because we’d be able to live together in a unit that we owned.
What do you like about living at Tall Trees?
Aside from being able to live with Kevin while he gets all the care he needs, I never have to worry about cooking! Kevin and I both like being able to have the company of the people here.
